Welcome to Japanlife
From the East African Coast the Journey to the Far East began. That was 17 years ago! My youth and my spirits could take me anywhere then. It wasn’t my first time to travel to countries miles and miles away but it was the furthest I had ever ventured.
I had a simple mission, to learn the Japanese language and culture so that I could be resourceful when dealing with the people from the rising Sun.
The simple mission wasn’t such simple after all. One simple mission led to another, simple projects grew bigger and more permanent over the years.
Looking back after 17 years, the investments I made in this far far away land is almost half my life. Probably the Japanese Ministry of Justice understood the magnitude of the investment I made or contributed to this home land, that’s why they granted me citizenship.
As a new Japanese citizen I am writing about this knew homeland based on my past, present and future through the eyes of a man who was once considered and alien by the law of this land (That doesn’t mean the mass won’t consider me an alien). I am talking about the law and that’s a super great deal!
My pen name is Khalfish and my Actual name is Khalfan.
Fasten your seat belt and enjoy the bumpy ride but be warned, my opinions what so ever are not meant to be judgmental. My views are based on my experience and a person’s experience can be quite personal.
All the best,
